About us

Crunchr is the People Analytics platform for forward-thinking HR teams. Our team has been built with the same attention and care as our product, and we value motivated and impact-driven team players. For more information about us, you can visit the Crunchr career page.

Before you apply, please note that candidates based in the Greater Boston area are strongly preferred and that this role does not offer visa sponsorship (applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship). We also don't use AI in our selection process (yes, a real person reads each submission), so please keep your application authentic and relevant!

Some context about the role

Crunchr’s Customer Success team sits at the heart of what we deliver, combining engaged customer relationships with deep technical work to transform scattered HR data into actionable insights. We are now looking for a senior, hands-on Analytics Engineer to be the technical partner to our customers and unlock the value of people analytics.

You will be responsible for integrating, consolidating, cleansing and structuring HR data for analytical or operational uses, as well as building data pipelines to bring together information from different source systems. As a Senior Analytics Engineer at Crunchr you will work with customers both during and after implementation to make data easily accessible and to optimize their organization's big data ecosystem. You will be the technical owner for a set of customer accounts, working directly with clients on complex, real-world HR data challenges and being the person they rely on when things get difficult.

The total CS team consists of 10 team members working as Customer Success Managers, Analytics Engineers and Customer Success Specialists across the Netherlands (Amsterdam) and US (Boston). You will be based in Boston, and will report directly to the Head of CS (based in Boston). You will work closely with our CSMs on customer accounts and with the Engineering department for technical queries.

Some of your responsibilities will be:

  • Be the primary technical point of contact for your own customer accounts, owning issues end-to-end and ensuring a high quality of delivery.
  • Proactively identify data quality gaps of our customers, enabling further analytics opportunities.
  • Continuously improve technical standards across code quality, pipeline architecture and own ways of working.
  • Set up integrations with different HRIS, including creating scripts to feed the data from clients into our solution.
  • Be the senior technical voice with customers. Lead data-related discussions, advise on complex problems, and build trust with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Actively bring AI into how we work, finding places where it can improve speed, quality or consistency across the team and customer base.

  • Affinity with the HR or People Analytics domain.
  • Actively embrace AI as part of how you work, whether that’s using AI tools for improvements, automating repetitive tasks or finding smarter ways to solve customer challenges.
  • You are a great fit with our core values.
  • Based in or near Boston, able to work from our office at least 2 days per week.
